Story
After the Khitan destroyed hundreds of buildings, an ancient tree was left behind. Most of it was withered and blackened, but one branch sprouted new buds. The people thought it was magical and called it the tree of immortality. After Liu Zhiyuan stole Bianzhou and made it the capital of the Later Han Dynasty, Bianzhou officials forced the people to move away from the area where the immortal tree was located. They decorated the withered branches with oil paper flowers and built an "Auspicious Garden" around it to congratulate the Later Han Dynasty for their eternal prosperity.
